In an emergency, keep calm and describe clearly

  • Location of emergency: e.g. building name, location, floor
  • Type of emergency: e.g. fire, chemical spillage, gas leak, injured
  • Your full name and extension / mobile number

Fire / Explosion Emergency

  • Alert and rescue people if safe to do so
  • Activate the fire alarm
  • Call NTU Campus Security: 6790 5200
  • Evacuate to the assembly area — do NOT use the lift

Medical Emergency / Accident

  • Call 995 for an ambulance (critical)
  • Call 1777 for non-critical cases
  • Wait for help to arrive
  • Administer CPR if trained
  • Do not attempt to move a seriously injured person
